Church - The discoverer of Christian Science and founder of our church, Mary Baker Eddy, gave this definition of church:
"The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle. The Church is that institution, which affords proof of its utility and is found elevating the race, rousing the dormant understanding from material beliefs to the apprehension of spiritual ideas and the demonstration of divine Science, thereby casting out devils, or error, and healing the sick." - Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, 583:12

Our weekly schedule includes a Sunday morning church service at 10 am and a Wednesday evening meeting at 7:30 pm. Our services are available on Zoom. Please email us for the current Meeting ID and log in information. cschurch@pacific.net

Sunday Services - are designed to bring Christian healing into your life. Eddy designated the Bible and her textbook, Science and Health with the Key to the Scriptures, as the Pastor of our church. So the centerpiece of the Sunday service is a lesson-sermon read from these important books by two members of our congregation. The lesson-sermon for each week is available for study during the week; it can be found in the Christian Science Quarterly (which you will find in our online Reading Room by clicking here).

The Sunday service begins at 10:00 am and lasts for about an hour. Everyone is welcome to come early and get to know others before we begin.

Here is the outline of a typical Sunday morning service:

• Music Prelude
• Hymn
• Brief Scriptural reading
• Silent Prayer
• Lord's Prayer
• Hymn
• Announcements
• Solo
• Lesson Sermon
• Contemplative Music and Offering
• Hymn
• Closing citation from textbook, "The Scientific Statement of Being"
• Correlative citation from 1 John, "What manner of love..."
• Benediction
• Music Postlude

Wednesday Evening Meetings (1st wednesday of the month) - The first half of our midweek meeting, begining at 7:30 pm, provides a spiritual perspective on current issues facing us as individuals, our community, nation, or the world along with prayer and singing. A member of our congregation prepares readings from the Bible and Science and Health. You are welcome to explore some of our past Wednesday evening readings, by clicking here. The readings are listed by topic.

The second half of this one-hour meeting is for people to share healings and spiritual insights.
